Redix provides a suite of solutions to help governments exchange customs transactions electronically. The European Union’s DG TAXUD (Directorate General Taxation and Customs Union) uses Redix products to exchange customs transactions electronically. EU Member State uses the Redix AnyToAny Format Converter Engine and XML Module for two separate applications:

ECN (EDI Communications Node)

The ECN (EDI Communications Node) is a business application that is part of the CDTA (Centrally Developed Transit Applications) suite of applications. The ECN is primarily responsible for receiving, translating, and forwarding both EDIFACT and XML messages.

STTA (Standard Transit Test Application)

The STTA is a standalone tool used to test the compliance of business NCTS (New Computerized Transit System)/ECS (Export Control System) applications with the NCTS/ECS specifications. It supports both the EDIFACT and XML formats.

For customs applications, Redix offers two types of engines, the XML Module, and the GUI Mapper.
