Design time and run time. You create maps in the GUI Mapper on Windows; the AnyToAny Engine executes them on Windows, Linux, or in containers. Maps created on Windows can be deployed on Linux; test them on the target engine build, including any platform-specific procedures or drivers.

Trim definitions to your partner's guide. Removing optional segments and loops that are not used under your trading partner's applicable guide makes the IFD smaller and can reduce processing work; measure the effect on your own files. Never remove structures the guide requires.

The GUI Mapper is included in the HIPAA Package, with the HIPAA definitions and pre-defined maps.
Separately
It can also be licensed on its own as a design-time tool, for teams that only need the mapping interface. Licenses can be transferred to a new machine from the Help menu.
